For those who connect their purchase of Cyberpunk 2077 to GOG Galaxy, they will receive a whole host of bonuses when the game releases on December 10. Every copy of the game comes with the following digital rewards:
Original score Art booklet Digital comic “Cyberpunk 2077: Your Voice” Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook Set of wallpapers for desktop and mobile
In-game items, which can be picked up from an item stash in V’s apartment include:
The Witcher-inspired Wolf School Jacket and T-shirt GOG Galaxy T-shirt Black Unicorn blade Shupe the Troll Plushy.
These can be claimed regardless of which platform you play the game on and are available whether or not you pre-order. However, if you choose to buy the game at GOG, you can also receive some additional bonuses, including another digital comic “Big City Dreams”, print-quality posters (that is, still digital, so you’ll have to do the printing yourself), as well as additional wallpapers and avatars. For those who pre-order and pre-load Cyberpunk 2077 via GOG, you can also find yourself a cheeky Easter egg. While you may be groaning that it’s yet another PC launcher you have to install, what’s great about GOG Galaxy is that it actually connects with all your other existing launchers and clients. In other words, you can see all your games, friends, and activities in one place. More interesting is that you can also connect your Xbox Live and PlayStation Network accounts, hence why console owners are also able to claim their digital bonuses for Cyberpunk 2077 this way. The open-world sci-fi RPG finally releases on December 10. Reviews have generally been very favourable, with VG247’s 5/5 review calling it “dripping with detail and engaging stories” and “the kind of RPG where you blink and hours go by”. The reception nonetheless follows with reports cautioning that some of its content can trigger epileptic seizures. UK charity Epilepsy Action has also called for CD Projekt Red to address this with an urgent update.
